With so many new albums and singles released over the summer, the fall was bound to be filled with concerts all over the country. It may seem like there are too many to count, so these are my top three recommendations to narrow down your list.
Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft The Tour
Billie Eilish is undergoing a surge of popularity following the release of her new album ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’ on May 17, 2024. The album had over 73 million streams in its first 24 hours, and was certified platinum in early September. Her tour has had equal amounts of popularity, with videos across social media platforms amazing even those who haven’t gotten to see the show live. The tour started on September 29, 2024 in Quebec City, and will finish on Sunday July 27, 2025 in Dublin, Ireland. Eilish has visited the US and Canada, and is set to visit Australia and Europe. Though she has already passed by New England, the tour still has many dates around the United States left.
Clairo – Charm Tour
Clairo released her third album ‘Charm’ which consisted of eleven new songs on July 12, 2024. Though she is known best for her earlier music such as her songs ‘Bags,’ ‘Bubble Gum,’ and ‘4EVER,’ she has continued to gain popularity. ‘Charm’ stayed on the top 100 list for many weeks in multiple countries such as the US, the UK, and New Zealand. She kicked off her tour on September 6, 2024 in Los Angeles alongside her opener, Paris Texas. Clairo is visiting Boston on October 28th, 29th, and 30th and will continue to have shows around North America until March of 2025.
Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour
Though it’s hard to believe, The Eras Tour is still happening in the United States. This series of concerts began on March 17, 2023, and is set to finish on December 8, 2024. By the end, it will have consisted of over 150 shows and visited five different continents. The most recent night of the tour was Swift’s first night back from break on October 18th in Miami with opener Gracie Abrams. Unfortunately, The Era’s Tour will not be coming back to New England on its second leg, but there are remaining shows in New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver.
